WHAT IS NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is essentially a study of Excellence and it uses perceptual, behavioural and communication techniques to help people effectively change their thoughts, patterns and actions. It often gets a bad rep as people overuse it for manipulation or just to make money.
When used properly, it can be a magnificent toolkit you use to get great results in your life.

To explain it in simple terms:

neuro linguistic programming

NEURO

Refers to the person’s mind (or the brain) and how its’ states affect communication and behaviour. Every individual has their own unique filtering system for processing information - the data, which consists of internal sounds, images, sensations, tastes, smell and awareness. .

LINGUISTIC

This is the linguistic representation of our world and how we communicate both through verbal and non-verbal communication. The words we use, the meaning we place upon them and the internal representations of that language to which we assign internal images, sounds, feelings, taste and smell, which form our every day reality.
By utilising NLP language patterns we are able to effectively communicate, elicit desired responses and access unconscious information that would remain unknowable otherwise.

PROGRAMMING

This is the ability to model the behaviours that we want to achieve. By utilising NLP techniques, you are able to analyse the strategies, rewire thoughts, language patterns and behaviour, to elicit desired outcomes.

What is NLP used for?

NLP patterns can be applied to every area of life, be it personal development, health & fitness, career, relationships to working with businesses to increase performance, build strong teams, improve leadership and increase revenue.
You might not know this, but NLP is widely used in global organisations, media, governments and military as well as coaching and therapy.
